Double Bass Principal, kontrabas stämledare

Full time tenured employment with a trial year from 2016-11-01 (or as agreed upon).

The constitution of the section is 2 principals, 2 assistant principals and 3 tutti players.

Audition will take place after personal invitation on the 25th and 26th of May 2016 at the Royal Opera House, Jacobs Torg 4, 105 69 Stockholm.

Please note that the audition shall be performed on an orchestra tuned bass.

Audition repertoire
Dittersdorf: Double Bass concert in D Major (E Major), 1st movement with cadenza (Gruber) and 2nd movement without cadenza.

Bottesini: Double Bass concert in a minor (b minor), 1st and 2nd movement.

Orchestra excerpts and ensemble test will be sent together with the invitation to the audition. Closing date for all applications is 2016-04-22.
